Best Childhood Books

I Like To Help My Mommy by Catherine Kenworthy
This book is about a little boy that likes to help his mommy.  It is basically a day-in-the-life point of view of household chores, grocery shopping and more.  It is adorable, and promotes a mother-child bond.

The Monster At The End Of This Book by Jon Stone
Loveable Grover trying to save the reader from the monster at the end of the book!  Very charming.  Grover always was my favorite anyway, so this was a fun little story with my favorite Sesame Street character.

A Sleepy Story by Elisabeth Burrowes
Several different animals asking their mommies for a bedtime story.  It was one of my favorites for my grandma to read to me before bed.

The Poky Little Puppy by Janette Sebring Lowrey
Everyone knows this story.  But what makes it my favorite is that my dad used to make up extras when he read it to me, or just tell it to me without the book altogether.  It made it more fun and interactive for me.

Diamond D And The Dreadful Dragon in a Sesame Street Treasury Storybook that you can find here.  This one always made me and my mom laugh!
